Robin Johnson
Managing Director, Coach, Trainer and Facilitator
Robin's experience of being managing director of a highly successful, rapid growth multi million pound company enables him to understand the leadership issues his clients face. Clients frequently report back that his coaching sessions far exceeded their most optimistic expectations. Robin is a frequent contributor to the national press and business magazines on subjects such as leadership coaching, business performance and motivation.
Robin sold his business in 2000 and re-trained to launch OvationXL.
Adam Sprackling

Adam’s particular skill is in focusing key individuals and teams on the strategic aims of the business through aligning personal motivation, confidence and capability to meet very specific goals. His inspiring yet pragmatic approach to facilitation makes change and performance excellence simple and fun.
He has worked with a wide range of organisations including Merrill Lynch, JP Morgan Chase, Ernst & Young, Freshfields, British Airways, Diageo, Lend Lease, Forte Group, Sainsbury’s, Sony Ericsson, Liberty, Teletext, Strategic Rail Authority and the Cabinet Office.
Alan Ward
Coach, Trainer and Facilitator
Alan provides strategic consultancy, executive coaching and mentoring services for diverse clients and associates around the world. He has also designed and delivered a variety of bespoke communications workshops for high performing teams and leaders in change.
Alan has 25 years first-hand experience in the development and delivery of change. He has previously held the offices of Director of Strategy and Secretary of the Management Committee in a global investment bank.
Peter Scott
Coach, Trainer and Facilitator
Peter Scott is a solicitor and was for eight years the Managing Partner of Eversheds' London and European offices. He advises law firms and other professional organisations on their strategic, financial and management issues helping clients to improve their competitiveness through effective performance management. He is most often asked to act as a 'discreet mentor' to managing partners and CEOs.
He is a frequent speaker at conferences as well as regularly acting as a facilitator for clients at partner retreats and workshops. His articles are published in well known legal journals and is editor of 'Practice Management Handbook' published by Law Society Publishing.
Susan Lane Shaw
Coach, Trainer and Facilitator
Susan has coached more than 200 business owners, MDs and executives in every imaginable field of endeavour including law, manufacturing, IT, construction, accounting, insurance, retail and personal services. She received her training and had five years of experience with Michael Gerber, a renowned small business revolutionary, and author of "The E-Myth Revisited."
Susan’s speciality is working with owners and executives to develop documented systems for all essential areas of the business so that the owner and leaders are effective, efficient and confident. As a result owners and stakeholders achieve the goals and objectives as set forth in the vision for their business.
Neil Urquhart
Coach, Trainer and Facilitator
Neil is a communication, leadership and inter-cultural skills trainer, facilitator and coach who has been involved in training groups and individuals internationally since 1992. These include the European Commission, the European Parliament, SAP, Siemens, John Deere, Cargill, the EADS and Smurfit Kappa groups, the City of Tokyo Board of Education, and Santa Catarina University in Bahia, Brazil.
For the past six years he has worked on honing his corporate clients' communication skills, planning, delivering and assessing client-specific seminars on international presentations, intercultural negotiations and communicating within teams. He has also researched learning behaviour in corporate clients, coached executives and supplied communications consulting to entrepreneurs seeking venture capital.
Terry Elston
Coach, Trainer and Facilitator
For over twenty years Terry has provided coaching and mentoring services for diverse clientele and associates around the world. A selection of assignments includes training police, Home Office and MOD personal; developing training modules for the Cabinet Office and 1-2-1 coaching for top executives in blue chip and governmental institutions.
Besides his work with OvationXL, Terry is the managing director of NLP World Ltd; an NLP training company based in Brighton that delivers bespoke training and NLP qualifications. His personal philosophy is to provide a highly-evolved, personalised approach to develop practical solutions for clients.
Stacey Cross
Coach, Trainer and Facilitator
Stacey was a solicitor with Slaughter and May before becoming an Executive Coach, Trainer and Facilitator. She also trained in California with business guru Robert Dilts. Stacey coaches lawyers and other professionals to develop and achieve peak performance. She draws on a rich variety of disciplines to enable her clients both to excel in their chosen professional field and to have the requisite interpersonal skills to ensure business and personal success. She is also experienced in conflict resolution and group dynamics.
Caroline Cooper
Coach, Trainer and Facilitator
Caroline coaches business professionals to enhance performance and effectiveness, and delivers leadership, coaching and training skills workshops.
Former roles include Learning and Development Director for a global support services organisation, where she headed a team providing leadership and skills development to all parts of the business. Caroline has experience of working with a broad range of industries, and recent clients include a number of FTSE 100 companies.
Julian Tutty
Coach
Julian was HR Director at Compaq Computer before their merger with HP. He has worked closely with the Boards of organisations as diverse as Virgin, Cranfield University, A&O and PWC helping to generate commercial success by implementing effective HR strategy. Most recently Julian was Global Head of Performance, Learning and Development at Allen & Overy LLP where he led a team providing leadership and management development to a global population of partners, associates and support staff working closely with leading Business Schools in the UK and the US. It was here that he became particularly interested in the challenges of career development at all levels and the lasting impact that coaching can have on individual and organisational performance.
Robin Edwards
Coach
Robin works with clients to identify their unique qualities, increase self-awareness and adopt a "can-do" approach to success. She has a particular interest in assisting clients to develop a motivational management and leadership style.
Robin worked as a solicitor for 15 years, initially as a litigator and employment specialist. Her last legal role was as professional support lawyer in a "Magic Circle" firm.
Joanne Garner
Coach
Joanne focuses on developing potential and identifying preferred paths to excellence. She facilitates leaders to explore a range of options to address different situations, developing comfort and skill with a repertoire of styles appropriate to varying contexts, reporting and client relationships.
Joanne was previously a senior manager in both public and private sectors. With eighteen years experience as an executive coach, her clients include Aviva, HSBC, Lloyds TSB, National Grid, central government, local authorities, police services and a range of SMEs.
Lorraine Nicolle
Nutrition & Lifestyle Coach
Following a successful career in business and marketing management, Lorraine runs a busy practice at a London health clinic. She uses a science-based approach (including biochemical tests, where appropriate) to identify and address each client's hidden barriers to achieving optimum performance. The result is that clients not only achieve new levels of career success, they also experience a markedly improved sense of wellbeing.
Lorraine is passionate about health education and about helping people to reach peak performance through improving their health.
Denys Andrianjafy
Facilitator
Denys facilitates workshops for clients undertaking change and transition. His impartial style encourages constructive debate between group members.
Previously, Denys worked as Head of Innovation at Accelerate, the City based corporate branding and communication consultancy. More recently he was brand and emarketing manager at Deloitte where he led a team providing consultancy, advice and insight to a global population of partners, associates and support staff.
Andrew Colquhoun
Counsellor and mentor
Andrew Colquhoun brings a rare blend of senior management experience and counselling expertise to his work with clients. Andrew served for seven years as Secretary and Chief Executive of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, and then as Director-General of the Royal Horticultural Society for another seven years. On leaving the RHS, he obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Roehampton University.
Andrew has experience in working confidentially with clients with a range of emotional issues. His aim in counselling is to help his clients rediscover the resources within themselves so that they can have the emotional freedom to resume fulfilling lives and careers. Andrew helps clients to develop coping strategies and to become more comfortable with change in their lives. He can also work with them on issues of loss and of relationships to others, as well as personal awareness and growth.
